Compared to its predecessors, it has been comprehensively upgraded in both hardware and software, with a focus on connection stability and sound experience. Bluetooth 5.0 has been introduced, and with Mesh 2.0, 6 people can speak simultaneously and connect up to 24 participants in total.

At the same time, the Sena 50R automatically reintegrates all riders into the group as soon as they are back in range. Thanks to Sena's groundbreaking adaptive mesh networking technology, which works in combination with Bluetooth, the 50R has more connections than ever before. With an innovative dual antenna and two separate processors, one for Bluetooth and one for adaptive mesh networking, the 50R can establish connections to each processor simultaneously thanks to multi-operation function. This means you can connect up to 3 other communication devices to your Sena 50R headset via Bluetooth 5.0 and then integrate them simultaneously into an existing mesh networking group.

Communicate reliably and clearly in HD audio quality with up to 24 other riders within a maximum range of 2 km. With the 50R, targeted group management is also possible, so you can divide users into groups and differentiate according to the group. In addition to these private groups, you can search for motorcyclists within a 2 km radius who also use a Sena 50R with just one button press. You will be automatically connected with them.

Sena 50R audio multitasking technology allows you to conduct conversations via adaptive mesh networking while simultaneously streaming music from your smartphone via Bluetooth, accepting or making phone calls, or playing detailed GPS navigation instructions. Users no longer have to be annoyed by the interruption-prone audio functions of earlier Bluetooth communication devices. Now the audio functions no longer interrupt each other but overlap, providing a pleasant listening experience. Enhance your rides with seamless audio sources.

With the Sena smartphone app, device settings can be configured (e.g., entering a group of biker friends for the hands-free system) and a quick guide can be viewed. Simply pair your phone with your 50R headset and run the Sena smartphone app. This way, you can make settings directly from your smartphone.

The new quick charge function of the 50R offers around 3 hours of operating time after just 20 minutes of charging. On the road, the 50R can be completely controlled via voice commands. The intuitive technology ensures safe, controlled riding by seamlessly switching between music, phone, and intercom functions.

The universal mounting option with clamp and/or adhesive mount and the interchangeable cable and boom microphone of the 50R allows use with almost any helmet, whether jet, flip-up, or full-face helmet. The Sena 50R Louis Edition is compatible with Sena's optimal handlebar remote control as well as all 20S clamp accessories.
